Hey Ya'll! This is our official family blog for our families and friends to keep up with our crazy busy lives. Tyler just had his First Birthday! He received so many presents he didn't know where to start. It has been two days and he still has no idea what to do. I think it is about time to lose some batteries. Really he is just so much fun. Communication is heaven sent! Wow how the time flies when your changing diapers. The first year was very challenging for Jake and I. Tyler just started sleeping through the night about a month ago ( thank you jenny). It was really hard for me to let my baby sleep. Ha! I have now learned to block it out. We are enforcing the Ferber Method with him. We have him on a schedule that we follow religiously. I always thought that people who did this was a nut case. Yes I am now a nut case. Things are going great with Ty.
Jake is working like a dog. I'm sure most of you can relate to that. He is still working for Park A Way. He loves every second. He was just asked to be General Manager. So I already thought I didn't get to see him a lot. It will be good for him and us. As long as he love what he does and is happy..I'm happy. He is all excited about fall. It means two things...football...and hunting! I'm not a big fan of either one. O well! He is taking this semester off of school again. He just want to be sure he knows exactly what he wants to go for. As for church, Jake is the Elders Quorum President. It is so time consuming for him. It is a real blessing for him. He is a huge people person and it help me get to know people in our ward.
Well, as for me, I am loving staying at home with Ty! It is not as laid back as everyone would think. I have a hard time finding time to shower some days. I wonder how my mother did it so many years! Other than trying to shower, I enjoy cooking and planning new things to do inside my house and out. Have I ever told you how very much I hate WEEDS! I hate to weed! The results are well worth it. Now that my parents live an hour away, I'm always making a trip to Rexburg. I love having them all a part of our lives. It is nice to have that support of your mom and dad close by. You can never thank them enough for that.
